Quick answers

We’re still building the thing, so nobody’s written in yet — these are the questions we expect once the crew hits the road. The full rundown lives on the homepage FAQ, in the crew’s own words.

• Is the long way free?
  Skates: Nobody pays a cent today — we're still building the thing. When it launches there'll be a free ride and a fair premium tier. I'll have done the math by then. I always do the math.
• Is it safe to use while driving?
  Skates: Yes — audio plays automatically, fully hands-free. But we're an entertainment companion, not a navigation app. Always use a proper GPS for directions. I'm saying this first because it matters.
• Does it work in dead zones?
  Scout: Yep — we pack snacks before we lose signal. The next few stories ride along in your pocket, so a missing bar never ends the trip.
• Is it safe for kids?
  Skates: It will be. Family Mode ships with the launch — kid-friendly content only, no scares, no edge, just curiosity and laughter — and it gets a PIN so little hands can't switch it off. No kid rides before that's done.
• How do I delete my account or my data?
  Macey: Email us and it's done. We remove your account data and confirm within 30 days. No hoops, no "are you sure" five times. Your call, every time. Reach us at ben@brokenbranch.dev.

When you write in about a bug, include as much of this as you can:

• What happened— and what you expected to happen instead.
• Steps to reproduce— what you tapped, in what order, right before it went sideways.
• Your device & OS— e.g. Pixel 8, Android 15.
• When it happened— the rough date and time helps us match it to our logs.
• A screenshot or screen recording— if you’ve got one, it tells the whole story.
